1. When are petitions issued for Arlington & Lakeland Municipal Elections?

Now through NOON June 20, 2013 which is the Filing Deadline.

2. Is there a cost to file a petition?

Only if the candidate is in the City of Memphis Muncipal Election. The cost of the filing fee is $100.00.

3. Can petitions be downloaded?

Petitions can only be issued at the Election Commission Offices.

4. How many signatures are required on a petition?

A minimum of twenty-Five (25) valid signatures of qualified registered voters are required.
Valid Signatures are from Registered Voters including address at which they are registered to vote.

5. Can a petition be picked up by someone other than the candidate?

Yes.
